1 .The art of lying is based on a small village Story Far away from the village, in a small settlement, there lived a boy named Sagar. Sagar was very clever and smart, but he enjoyed lying more than telling the truth. He had deceived many people in the village with his art of lying.
Sagar’s art of lying was so amazing that he could make up the biggest of stories without any hesitation and people would believe him. One day, Sagar thought why not use his art of lying to do something big.
He told the villagers that a big treasure was hidden in the forest near the settlement. He also said that he himself had seen that treasure and if the villagers help him, he would help them find the treasure. The villagers believed Sagar and got ready to find the treasure.
Sagar took the villagers inside the forest and asked them to dig at a place. The villagers started digging with full enthusiasm, but they did not find the treasure. Sagar said, “Maybe I told the wrong place, the treasure must be a little further inside.” Saying this, he took them further inside and asked them to dig again. Thus,Sagar led the villagers astray in the forest for several days.
After a few days, the village elders became suspicious. They asked Sagar, “Why did you not tell us about the treasure? And if you had seen the treasure, why did we not find it?” Manish lied and said, “Maybe someone else must have taken that treasure before us.”
The villagers were disappointed by his words, but they did not believe Sagar any more. Slowly, Sagar’s lies started getting exposed. The villagers understood that Sagar had deceived them. They decided to expel Sagar from the village.

Reaching the fair, Babu took his friends to an old man and said, “This is the man who sells magical stones.” The old man was actually a simple merchant, selling ordinary stones. Babu bought some stones from the old man and sold them to his friends, calling them magical stones.
Babu ‘s friends bought those stones and came back to the village and tried to sell them at a high price. When the villagers bought those stones and tried them, they found out that they were ordinary stones and there was no magic in them. When the villagers came to know about this, they got very angry and started demanding their money back from Babu ‘s friends.
Babu ‘s friends found him and asked him, “Why did you cheat us? These stones are not magical.” Babu laughed and said, “It was just a joke.” But his friends did not forgive him and left him alone.
The villagers exposed Babu ‘s lie and decided to expel him from the village. Babu suffered a lot due to his lying skills and he realized that lying only increases problems. He decided that from now on he will follow the truth and live an honest life.
