Program Timeline and Process:
Application Period: October 12 – October 25, 2024
Selection Notifications: October 27 – November 7, 2024
Internship Offers Finalized: November 8 – November 15, 2024
Internships Begin: December 2, 2024
Selected candidates will engage in 12-month internships, gaining hands-on experience, with a focus on workplace skills and practical knowledge.
Stipend and Support:
Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000
₹4,500 from the Government
₹500 from company CSR funds
One-Time Grant: ₹6,000 for joining expenses
Insurance Coverage: Interns will be enrolled in PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, with premiums covered by the government.
Eligibility:
Age: 21 to 24 years
Education: Must have completed high school or undergraduate degrees (BA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, BCA, etc.) or relevant diplomas.
Ineligible: Graduates from IITs, IIMs, or those with higher qualifications (e.g., MBA, CA) are excluded to ensure the scheme benefits a wider pool of youth talent.

Prominent companies such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Max Life Insurance, and Alembic Pharma have already confirmed participation. Companies that cannot provide direct internships may offer opportunities through their extended value chains, such as suppliers and partners
