The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 2, 2025, in a special event scheduled to be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Under this flagship Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme, each eligible farmer will receive ₹2,000 directly into their bank account.
