- OBC: Up to 33 years
- SC: Up to 35 years
- Additional: Relaxations are available for government servants as per rules.
- Probation Period: 2 years
- Job Location: Headquarters in New Delhi, with postings anywhere in India.
- Responsibilities: Plead cases, assist senior prosecutors, maintain records, and prepare case-related reports.
2. Public Prosecutor
- Pay Scale: Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission, Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500, excluding allowances.
- Eligibility: Must have a law degree and at least 7 years of experience in handling criminal cases at the bar.
- Age Limit:
- General/EWS: Up to 35 years
- OBC: Up to 38 years
- SC/ST: Up to 40 years
- Probation Period: 2 years
- Job Location: Anywhere in India
- Responsibilities: Lead prosecutions, supervise Assistant Prosecutors, ensure proper documentation, and report to senior officers.
Selection Process
