India today celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025 (National Unity Day) with great enthusiasm across the country, marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “Iron Man of India.” The main event was held at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat — the tallest statue in the world — where Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in taking the ‘Oath of Unity’, reaffirming India’s timeless values of oneness, peace, and integrity.

“It feels powerful to take the same oath as the Prime Minister. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas reminds us that despite our diversity, we are one,” said Nisha Rao, a college student from Vadodara.
